Silsila is a 1981 Bollywood film directed by Yash Chopra. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Jaya Bhaduri, Sanjeev Kumar and Rekha. The film is said to be based on Amitabh Bachchan's personal life as in late 70's and early 80's, the romance between Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha was the most talked about news from Hindi film industry.

Umrao Jaan was directed by Muzaffar Ali, and when the movie was released in 1980 it was a blockbuster. The first thing that comes to mind when we remember Umrao Jaan is the stunning Rekha. Farooq Sheikh, Naseruddin Shah and Raj Babbar have well performed the role of Nawab Sultan, Gauhar Mirza and Faiz Ali.
Not only the movie is awesome, but the melodious songs are like icing on the cake. Wonderful!. Khayyam has given a eternal life to the songs, and you will remember it.

The songs are the best of the decade, and the music is given by Anandji Veerji Shah & Kalyanji Veerji Shah. All the songs are touching and they also are from the best singers from the century. I highly recommend you to try this. Its one of the best.
